Staff and learners

Planning different CAPS;

We use a National Curriculum Policy statement (CAPS). It is a single, comprehensive and concise policy document introduced by the Department of Education for all the subjects listed in National Curriculum for Grade R-12.  The CAPS is aimed at assisting teachers in providing differentiated learning experiences to ensure that leaners can improve learning through the use of various teaching modalities.

Learners and Education Programme;

Our learners are divided into three Phases.  The Phase have five classrooms eg. Grade 3 with the ages ranging from Grade 11-13, Grade 3 with the ages from 14-15, Grade 3.2 with the ages from 14-16 and Group 4.1 with ages from 16 years old.  Learning areas: Language, Mathematics and Life Skills.

 

Learning areas;

Our learning subjects are Mathematics, Language and Life Skills.

Physical Education;

We do Physical Education. Teachers plan different activities for the week. We also participate in school activities like soccer, netball, Bocce and other activities.

Performing Arts;

Learners act and dance. They participate in RACA.  Every year our learners do dancing in order to participate with other schools inn our Province.

Creative Arts;

Learners draw pictures in orders to reveal their talents. Their painting is also taken out for display at the Civic Center whereby learner’s work is looked into and the best art is presented and selected.
